LITTLE CEDAR - Funeral services for Mrs. Sydney Penney, 72, a lifelong resident of Mitchell County, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Little Cedar Methodist Church.

Burial will be held in the Little Cedar Cemetery with the Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer officiating. The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband and five children, Mrs. Clifford (Mildred) Canny, Osage; Mrs. Glen (Doris) Canny, Little Cedar; Venus Penney, Little Cedar; Merle Penney, Osage and Earl Penney, Little Cedar. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Penney died Wednesday at an Osage hospital.
