OSAGE, IOWA - Funeral services for Sidney Penney, 74, have been set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Little Cedar Methodist Church.

He died Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Mildred) Canny near Little Cedar. He was attending a family gathering. He had farmed north of Stacyville until retiring 11 years ago when he and his wife moved to Little Cedar.

Survivors, include, in addition to Mrs. Canny, three sons, Merle, Osage; and Vinus and Earl, Little Cedar; a daughter, Mrs. Glen (Doris) Canny, Osage; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Penney died a month ago. Also preceding him in death were three brothers and one sister.

note* According to his WWI Draft Registration dated June 5, 1917 he was born Septemer 12, 1888 in Stacyville, Mitchell, Iowa. At this time he was living in Little Cedar and was married.
