LITTLE CEDAR, IOWA — Funeral rites will be held on Thursday at 2 p. m., at the Little Cedar Methodist church for Clara Bessie Johnson, 59, who died Tuesday at her home here, following a lingering illness; burial in Little Cedar cemetery

She was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Johnson, she was born in Burr Oak township, Mitchell county, December 12, 1887. She later moved with parents to farm home in Liberty township, retiring recently to Little Cedar. She served for 29 years as treasurer of the local church, resigning because of failing health.

She leaves her parents, five brothers, Albert, Oscar, and Peter, all of Little Cedar; Arthur, Red Wing, Minnesota, and Glenn V., Osage.
