OBITUARY: Earl Marr, 1901-1966

EARL MARR, 64, RICEVILLE, DIED

Funeral services were held Aug. 19, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville for Earl Marr, 64, who died at his home there August 16, 1966. In charge of the funeral mass was the Rev. Fr. J. W. Bohr, church pastor. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery near Riceville.

In charge of the arrangements was the Conway Funeral Home at Elma.

Earl Marr was born November 1, 1901, the son of Mrs. and Mrs. James Marr, in Riceville. He attended the rural schools of Mitchell and Howard counties and later farmed east of Riceville.

Mr. Marr and Emma Dynes were married April 6, 1942, and she died on February 19, 1946. May 10, 1961, he was married to Martha Steiger.
