Funeral services for Mrs. Willard (Arlene) Feldt, 68, St. Ansgar, who died Monday, April 16, 1990 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, were held Thursday, April 19 at First Lutheran Church here with the Rev. Robert Porisch officiating.
Mrs. Feldt was born December 5, 1921 at Cushing, Morrison County, Minnesota to George H. and Edith C.(Otto) Miller. She attended rural school at Randall and graduated from Little Falls High School in 1940.
She was married to Willard Feldt on June 29, 1941 at the parental George Miller home. She received her Lutheran instruction and was baptized and confirmed December 14, 1941 by the Rev. Fred Ide at St. John's Lutheran Church.
They made their home and farmed on the family farm east of Grafton until 1975. At. that time, they retired and moved to a lake side home on Strawberry Lake, Ogema, Minneosta. In 1988 they purchased a home and returned to St. Ansgar where she resided until her death. They spent their winters at Mercedes, Texas for the past nine years. Mrs. Feldt's spiritual faith made her an active servant of the church. Her creative talents were appreciated by her family and friends. She loved the outdoors, nature walks and the beauty of spring time plantings.
She is survived by her husband, Willard; five children, Karen Robertson and husband, Gary of St. Ansgar; Joann Anderson and husband, Harold of Blue Earth, Minnesota; Jane Eitmann and husband, Dennis of Council Bluffs; Dean and wife, Barbara of St. Ansgar; Conrad and friend, Theresa of St. Paul, Minnesota; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four brothers, Duane of Cushing, Minnesota, Virgil of Proctor, Minnesota, Maynard of Tacoma, Washington and George of Brainard, Minnesota; four sisters, Gladys Moravec of Harlington, Texas, Phyllis Stumph of Carlton, Minnesota; Shirley Schneider of Kingman, Arizona, Anita Kennedy, Columbus, Ohio, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Craig, and brother, Myron.
Burial was at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Rock Township, Mitchell County.
