New Haven rites for Peter Meyer

Osage: Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church in New Haven for Peter Meyer, 81. He died Tuesday afternoon at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery.

The son of Peter and Barbara Meyer, he was born near New Haven in 1880. He was married to Catherine Green in 1907.

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Melvin and Robert, New Haven; two brothers, Bill, New Haven; Steven, Charles City and a sister, Mrs. Hugh Murray, Mason City. He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters and a son, Emil.
