Mrs. Paul Dockum Funeral Held December 16

Funeral services for Mrs. Paul Dockum, 86, of Carpenter, who died Sunday, December 14 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City, were held December 16 at Schroeder Funeral Home in St. Ansgar with the Rev. E. C. Franke, pastor of Deer Creek Lutheran church, Carpenter, officiating.

Ella S. Dockum, daughter of Bernard and Anna Handeland, was born April 17, 1894 in Britt. She married Paul Dockum in 1968.

Mrs. Dockum was preceded in death by one son, Willie, and two daughters, Marian and Mae. She is survived by her husband, Paul; two daughters, Bernadine Tessier and Clarisse Murphy, both of California; also a step daughter, Rosamond Gordon of Carpenter; two step sons, Harry Dockum of Carpenter and Gerald Dockum of Des Moines; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 13 step grandchildren, 23 step-great-grandchildren.

Burial was in Woodbury cemetery, Lyle, with Rev. Franke in charge of the committal services.
