Anna Brandau

Funeral services were held Friday, January 29, 1988 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural osage, for Anna Brandau, 86, of Osage. The Vicar Henry Koopman officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery, rural Osage. She died Tuesday, January 26, 1988 at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage.

She was born November 14, 1901, in Floyd County the daughter of Frederick and Anna (Hartwig) Dieterichs. She attended rural schools in Floyd County.

On June 3, 1925, she and Ralph Brandau were united in marriage at St. John’s Church, southwest of Osage. The couple farmed in Mitchell and Floyd Counties until moving to Osage in 1969.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; her parents; three brothers and six sisters.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.
