ORCHARD, IOWA - Patrick Sims, 75, died at his home here of influenza and pneumonia. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Sims.

He leaves two brothers, John, Dubuque, and James of Waterloo.

He lived in this community many years. He farmed near Orchard and at one time was section foreman for the Illinois Central Railroad.

The funeral is at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church. Burial in the church cemetery.
