Funeral services for Louis Perau, 52, who died at his farm home near Toeterville, following a lingering illness, will be Sunday afternoon at the Toeterville Lutheran Church.

He leave his widow, Emma, and his mother, Mrs. Emma Perau; two sisters, Mrs. H. Decklever, Mrs. Ella Brady; two brothers, William, Austin, Minnesota and Albert, in the navy.

Louis William Perau was born February 9, 1891 at Union township, Mitchell, Iowa to John Henry William Perau and Doris Elizabeth Meinecke.

1895: Willia Peran age 2.

1900: William Peran 40, Emma M Peran 34, Ella E Peran 15, Hulda D Peran 13, George H Peran 12,Louis W Peran 9, William H Peran 7, Albert Martin Peran 1, Henry Peran 82.

1910: William Peran age 19 working as a hired man on the Geffert farm.

1915: Louis Peran age 24.

1920: Louis W Perau 28, Emma Perau 28.

1925: Lewis W Perano 33, Vrinnie L Perano 33.

1930: Louis W Perau 39, Emma Perau 39 [38] , Walter Schmidtke 22.

1940: Louis W Perow 49, Emma Perow 49, Rudolph Schroer 32.

Louis married Emma Alwina Schroeder between 1910-1915.

He died January 5, 1944 at Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the St Peter Cemetery, Toeterville, Mitchell, Iowa
