TOETERVILLE, IOWA — Albert M. Perau, 62, died Sunday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church here. The Rev. William Kamke will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Schroeder & Houg Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, in charge.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. William Perau, he was born Oct. 30, 1898, in Union Township. He attended Austin Junior College and served overseas with the Seabees in World War II. He had been a painter the last 25 years.

Surviving are his sister, Mrs. Ella Brede, with whom he lived, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
