Arthur Hartwig Dies at Home in St. Ansgar

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — Funeral services for Arthur Hartwig, 63, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the house and at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran church, the Rev. Paul Brammer in charge. He died Tuesday at his home following a lingering illness.

Born on September 10, 1880, at St. Ansgar, Mr. Hartwig has been engaged in the grocery business in St. Ansgar for over 30 years.

Surviving are his wife, Sadie, one sister, Mrs. Eric Brummond, Wausau, Wisconsin; and three brothers: Walter, Wausau, Wisconsin; Herman and Lewis of St. Ansgar.
