Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Eukel, 79, rural St. Ansgar, who died at the Mitchell County Memorial hospital December 1, 1980 were held December 4 at First Lutheran church here with the Rev. Stephen Engelstad officiating.
Frances H. Eukel, daughter of Martin and Annie (Nelson) Skov, was born December 16, 1900 in Nevada township, Mower county, Minn. She received her education in the Red Star school in Nevada townhip, completing eight grades.
November 24, 1929 she married Albert Eukel. She and her husband made their home on the Eukel farm east of St. Ansgar until her death. She was baptized and confirmed December 8, 1946 by the Rev. Olaf A. Langehough and remained a member of First Lutheran church the rest of her life. She was a member of Debra circle of the ALCW.
Mrs. Eukel is survived by her husband, Albert; two brothers, Herman Skov of Austin, Minn., and Victor Skov of Lyle; a nephew, Wayne Skov; two nieces, Lorraine Schnepf and Joan Freese and great nephews, Thomas and Alan Schnepf, and great nieces, Sharon Schnepf and Ann and Lisa Freese.
Burial was in the St. Ansgar cemetery with Rev. Engelstad in charge of the committal services.
