Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Culbertson, 45, former Carpenter resident, who died in Winona, Minnesota Saturday, January 5, 1952, were held Tuesday, January 8 at the First Lutheran church here with Rev. O.A. Langehough officiating. Rev. L.E. Brynestad of Winona delivered the sermon.

Marjorie Lee Ezra was born October 16, 1906, the daughter of Lela and James Ezra in Assumption, Illinois. She had lived most of her life in Carpenter and was confirmed in the Rock Creek Lutheran church May 24, 1925.

She became the bride of Nuel Culbertson on April 25, 1925. Mrs. Culbertson is survived by her husband and one daughter, Rhea Lee, 16; also her mother, Mrs. Lela Horlick of Shawneetown, Illinois and her father, James Ezra of Mason City.
