St. Ansgar, Iowa, October 6 — Ed McCulla for many years a farmer near Stacyville, dropped dead Thursday morning, while filling a silo, on the farm south of St. Ansgar. The cause of his death was apoplexy.

He was 54 years of age, and is survived by his wife and two sisters, Mrs. Jay Jones of Mitchell, Mrs, Joe Cherney of St, Ansgar, and a niece Mrs. H.F. (Riven ?) of Marble Rock.
