Henry Runde, 63, Dies Suddenly;
Rites at Mclntire

McINTIRE, IOWA — Funeral rites will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Mels Church, Mclntire, for Henry Runde, 63.

He died suddenly at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota, Monday. He had been taken ill Wednesday with a brain virus infection.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Runde home.

He was born in Germany, December 25, 1894. He came to Kewanee, Illinois at 16. Two years later he came to McIntire where in 1917 he was married to Rose Jordan.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, James and Robert, both of McIntire; six grandchildren, three brothers, Paul, Kenneth, and Theodore, all of LeRoy, Minnesota; and a sister, Mrs. Frank Maier, Mora, Minnesota.
