OSAGE, IOWA — Bert A. Day, age 68, a longtime dry goods merchant of Osage, died Thursday at St. Louis. Missouri, of a heart attack. He had lived there for eight years.

He was born in England, and came to Riceville with his mother when he was a young man.

He married Florence Fiddick at Osage in 1905 and established business here about that time.

He leaves his widow; a daughter, Sister Agnita Clare, St. Louis.

Funeral and burial will be at St. Louis.
