FRAMSTAD, GUNDERSON

OSAGE, IOWA — Ann Marie Framstad, 77, Tuesday at a Mason City hospital, where she had spent the last six weeks following a stroke. She had been in excellent health until March 2, when the first stroke occurred.

She was born on October 8, 1868, in Hadeland, Norway, daughter of Ole and Pernille Gunderson; came to America at the age of 13 with her parents and four sisters, four sisters already having settled in America; made first home at Elgin, Iowa, where she attended school, and followed the vocation of seamstress until her marriage in 1894 to Amund N. Framstad, in
Chicago, where they lived a year.

They lived from 1895 for many years at Lincoln, Nebraska, then at Minneapolis, Minnesota, and came to Osage in March, 1911, where she had since lived; husband preceded in death in 1938.

She leaves a daughter Mrs. Leo W. Kelley, Osage; two stepdaughters, Mrs. W. B. Riggs, Fremont, Neb., and Mrs. J. B. Hodges, Columbus, O.: three sisters, Mrs. H, W. Lohn, Waverly; Mrs. L. J. Kehrer, Chicago, 111., and Mrs. Olina Steen, Leonard,7Minn.; four grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren;

Preceding her were two daughters, who died in infancy; six sisters, Mrs. Clara Gisleson, Mrs. Carrie Knutson, Mrs. Bertha Anderson, Mrs. Sisline Root and two in infancy, and a brother, in infancy.
