Frank Klaes 1943-1988

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, April 6, 1988 at St. Mel’s Catholic Church, McIntire, for Frank Klaes, 45, formerly of Riceville. Mr. Klaes died Friday, April 1, 1988 at a Salt Lake City hospital. The Father Carl Manternach will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Riceville.

He was born March 25, 1943 in Riceville to Mathew and Sybil (Lonie) Klaes. He graduated from Riceville High School.

In July of 1967, Mr. Klaes married Kathy Leipfred in Spring Valley, Minnesota. He had lived in Lyman, Wyoming for the past 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother.

Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Klaes of Lyman; a son, Russell of Rock Springs, Colorado; his mother, Mrs. Sybil Shaw of Preston, Minnesota; a sister, MRs. Barbara Martin of Riceville; and two brothers, Marvin of Brentwood, California and Roger of Biloxi, MS**.

**Newspaper had an abbreviation of MI, but that is Michigan, not Mississippi. There is a Biloxi in Mississippi, but not in Michigan.
