Dr. P.A. Aageson was born in Sweden, June 4, 1842, and died of appoplexy Wednesday afternoon, January 26, 1916. He was married to Christine Carlson in 1876 and come to St. Ansgar in 1881, at which place they have always lived. Ten childen were born to them, three of whom are living; John, of Coulter, Iowa; Walter and Arthur of this place. His funeral was held at the N.L. church Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. M.E. Waldeland, interment was made in the N.L. cemetery.

Those who were here to attend the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. John Aageson of Coulter, Iowa; Mrs. Annie Gulborg and son, Louie, of St. Paul; Mrs. Aageson and son, of Des Moines; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Larson and family of Meltonville.
