Funeral for Mrs. Sophia Robertson, 70, a native of St. Ansgar, who died at the Northwestern hospital in Minneapolis Sunday, November 6, 1955 were held Wednesday, November 9, 1955 at the First Lutheran church with the Rev. O. A. Langehough officiating.

Mrs. Robertson, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knutson, was born on the Knutson farm east of St. Ansgar May 8, 1885. She was baptized and confirmed at the First Lutheran church by the Rev. Johan Olson.

She had made her home in Minneapolis since her marriage to John A. Robertson December 28, 1912. Mr. Robertson died July 28, 1929. Mrs. Robertson had not been in good health for a number of years and had been cared for by her sister, Nellie Knutson.

Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by a brother, John. Survivors include her sister, Nellie, of Minneapolis, a brother, Otto, of St. Ansgar, and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was in the First Lutheran cemetery with Rev. Langhough in charge of the committal services.
