Harold Knutson

Harold J. Knutson, 82, died March 22, 1996. He was born December 27, 1913 in Mitchell County, Iowa. Harold was born to Otto Knutson and Myra Ruth Warrington, St. Ansgar, both of whom have preceded him in death.

He farmed in Iowa until 1958. At that time he moved to Riverside, California, and retired from Yeager Construction in 1976. Harold was schooled in St. Ansgar and farmed in Mitchell County. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, seeing duty in the South Pacific. He maintained a membership in the Teamsters Union.

Harold is survived by his wife of 52 years, Edna M. Pike Knutson; five children, Gary and Dennis of Riverside, California, Richard of Berryton, Kansas, Judith Bunker of Barstow, California, and Connie of Kaminski of Rialto, California; 16 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Orray of St. Ansgar and Otto of Lafayette, Colorado; three sisters, Genevieve Olson of Citrus Heights, California, Beulah Stickney of Wheatland, California, and Minerva Hughes, Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
