RICEVILLE, IOWA — Funeral rites were held Thursday for Edward White, 82, who died at University Hospital Tuesday, following surgery.

He was born on April 2, 1873, at Wilton Junction, Iowa. He married Margaret Hovey there, and she preceded him in death 11 years ago. The family moved to a farm near Riceville 46 years ago, where he had since resided.

He leaves seven daughters: Mrs. Jack Stibal, Osage; Mrs. Albert Pint, Mrs. J. P. Nolan, Miss Mildred White, Mrs. Joe Near, all of Plymouth, Michigan; Mrs. William Smith, Sr., Riceville, and Mrs. C. Everhart, Robinsdale, Minnesota.
