Mrs. Minnie Clausen, wife of our fellow citizen Martin N. Clausen, died Saturday morning, February 1, 1890, aged 24 years, 5 months, and 23 days.

She was united in marriage with her surviving husband on May 12, 1886, at St. Ansgar, Iowa. During her residence of about a year and a half in this city, she gradually failed, bronchial consumption and tubercular bowel troubles slowly but incessantly drawing upon her vital forces utnil at last, when by the intervening hand of hand of death she was released from this transient world, and her soul took flight to that eternal home on high . . . .
