Mr. Knut Knudson, an old resident of Rock (township), died at Rochester the first of the week, and the remains were interred in the little cemetery near the Lohn farm Tuesday.

Mr. Knut Knutson died at St. Olaf’s hospital in Austin last Sunday. The remains were brought to this city Tuesday and the funeral held in the Lutheran church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.A. Urnes. The interment was in the cemetery near Mr. Knutson’s old home south of St. Ansgar. Mr. Knutson was born in Norway in the year 1845 and came to America with his parents in 1852, coming soon after to Mitchell county. For several years, he has made his home in and around Osage.
