OSAGE, IOWA, March 9 — E. R. Stock, Osage city assessor, 66, died at his home on West Main street Friday following a week's illness. He had been in gradually failing health for some time previous. He was a resident here about 10 years, moving from his farm, near Manly.

He is survived by his wife, whose maiden name was Elizabeth Ferguson, a sister, Mrs. Martin Tracy of Manly and a brother, Caleb Stock, also of Manly.

Funeral services were announced for Monday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic church with burial in the Catholic cemetery here.
