OSAGE, IOWA -- Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Champion Funeral Home for Mrs. Howard Godfrey, age 44. The Rev. H. M. Grant of the Osage Methodist church officiated. Mrs. Godfrey died at the Nissen Hospital Friday night, after several months' illness.

Born in Red Oak, Iowa, she spent most of her life in Osage.

Surviving are her husband; five children: Keith in the navy, and Patsy, Betty, Gloria, and Nancy at home; her mother, Mrs. Frank Gregory and sister Mrs. Marguerite Kleckner of Mason City and a brother. Thomas of Pasadena, Cal. Burial will be in the Osage cemetery.
