OBITUARY: Kittie May Bryant Muller

MRS. KITTIE MULLER DIED;
RITES FRIDAY (SEPT. 1, 1966)

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home for Mrs. Kittie Muller, 78, lifelong Mitchell county resident, who died last Tuesday night at Mitchell County Memorial hospital. Mrs. Muller fell at her home early last Tuesday and was not found until late afternoon, by neighbors who called at her home. She was admitted to Memorial hospital and died the same night.

The Rev. Norman Brooks pastor of the Congregational church, was in charge of the services. Burial was at Orchard Cemetery.

Kittie May Bryant was born Sept. 25, 1887, at Orchard, the daughter of Wilfred and Maria Snody Bryant. She attended the Orchard school and served for several years as postmaster at Orchard. She was also an active member of the Congregational church in Osage, transferring her membership from Orchard in 1927.

Her marriage to Fred G. Muller took place Oct. 8, 1914. They established their home on a farm west of Osage and continued farming until moving to Osage 30 years ago.

Mr. Muller died Jan. 25, 1964. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Paul Richard; four half-brother and two half-sisters.

Mrs. Muller is survived by two sons, Herve of Anaheim, Calif., Wilford [or Wilfred] of St. Paul; and three grandchildren.
