OF OSAGE, DIEDFuneral services were held Friday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran Church, Osage, for Albert Frese, 76, who died at his home June 23. (1966)
The Rev. Edward M. Lang pastor, was in charge of the service. C. R. Champion and Sons Were in charge of arrangements and burial was in the Osage cemetery.
Albert George Frese, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Frese, was born in Mitchell County on Feb. 22, 1889. He was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran church south of Osage, March 24, 1889 and was confirmed there April 17, 1904.
He was united in marriage Aug. 31, 1913, to Minnie Groth in St. Ansgar. They farmed west of Osage on Highway 9 for almost 50 years, moving to Osage in March 1963.
Mr. Frese was preceded in death by h is parents and one son, Theodore.
Survivors include his wife, one brother, Herb Frese, and one sister, Mrs. Alma Ahrens, both of

OSAGE, IOWA - Albert Frese, 76, died on Wednesday at Mitchell COunty Memorial Hospital. he was born on February 22, 1889, in Mitchell County, to Mr. and Mrs. Louis Frese. He was married on August 31, 1913, to Minnie Groth in St. Ansgar. They farmed nearly 50 years west of Osage.
Surviving are his wife, a brother, Herbert, Osage; and a sister, Mrs. Alma Ahrens, Osage.
A son, Theodore, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be Friday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage. The Rev. Edward M. Lang will officiate and burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home is in charge.
