OSAGE, IOWA - Mrs. Pauline Michel, 89, died Sunday at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Fritz Muller, near Osage.

She was born Pauline Neuman, on May 8, 1858, in Germany, and was married there. She came to America in 1923 with her husband, daughter and granddaughter. Their first home was in Chicago. They came to Osage in 1929, where her husband, William, died in 1932. She then made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Kerdnt, until 1946, when they both went to the Muller home to live.

She leaves a daughter; two sons, Frank of Elgin, Illinois, William of Chicago; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

One sister preceded her in death.
