RITES PLANNED FOR
M. B. HALVORSON

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at the First Lutheran Church for Martin B. Halvorson, 72, who died of a heart attack Thursday afternoon. He had been in failing health for more than three years. He died on the farm on which he was born December 13, 1883, and where he had lived all his life.

Mr. Halvorson was one of the 12 children born to Andrew and Lucinde Halvorson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

Surviving are brothers: George, Clarence, Irvin and Elmer of St. Ansgar; and sisters: Clara and Mrs. Carl Dahl, also of this community; Mrs Maria Dahl, Mason City; and Mrs. Frank Spender of Boonton, New Jersey.

He never married. Burial will be at Riverside** Cemetery adjoining the Halvorson homestead.
