RITES AT SIX MILE GROVE CHURCH FOR SHIRLEY PATTERSON

TOETERVILLE, IOWA - Funeral services were held Monday at Six Miles Grove Church for Shirley Mae Patterson, 19, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Patterson, rural Toeterville. The Rev. Stanley Klemesrud officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery with Worlien Funeral Home, Austin, in charge.

She died Saturday at an Austin Hospital where she had been since Wednesday. She had been in poor health for some time.

Born in Lyle, May 5, 1943, she was graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1961 and attended Wartburg College last year. She was enrolled this fall at Hamilton College, Mason City.

Surviving are her parents, two brothers, David and Duane, both at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Sampson, Lyle, and Mr. and Mrs. John Patterson, Toeterville.
