Galene Brown Dies
at Iowa City
After 6 Weeks in Hospital

OSAGE, IOWA - Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Champion Funeral Home in charge of the Reverend Stiles Lessley of the Osage Congregational Church for Galene Brown, 69, who died Saturday night at the University Hospital in Iowa City where he had been the past six weeks.

He was born and spent his entire life in Osage.

Surviving are five cousins, Homer Higley of Batavia, New York; Mrs. Gertrude Warner of Buffalo, New York; Clarence Humphrey of Plainwell, Michigan; Levi Higley of Elba, New York.

Burial was in the family lot in the Osage Cemetery.
