CONSTABLE DIES;
RITES TUESDAY

LYLE, MINNESOTA - Funeral services for W. Ben Helfritz, 77 former Lyle constable for 37 years, will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, Minnesota.

Helfritz, who also was a member of the Lyle Town Council for 30 years, died Sunday at a hospital. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona, Iowa. The Rev. M. Hauge will officiate.

Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Orville (Hazel) Haverseth, of Lyle, Mrs. Harold (Gladys) Jorgenson, of Jackson, Minnesota, and Mrs. Harvey (Lois) Quindt, of Orlando, Florida; four sons: Otto, Ringsted, and Delmer, Russell and Robert, all of Austin; 19 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Helfritz lived in Lyle since 1908. He was born and educated at St. Ansgar, Iowa.
