Katherine Kempf 1895-1989

Funeral services were held Friday, August 4, 1989 at Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville. the Rev. John Gilbert officiated and burial was in Saratoga Cemetery. She died Wednesday, August 2, 1989 at Riceville Community Nursing Home.

She was born September 28, 1895 in LaPorte City to Adam and Dorothea (Mengel) Kempf. She was a telephone operator and a licensed practical nurse.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother; and three sisters.

Survivors include eight nieces and one nephew.

Katherine Kempf was the daughter of Adam Kempft and Dorothea "Dora" Mengel who are buried in Riverside, Mitchell, Iowa. There a a couple of his siblings buried in Osage and Riverside too.
