Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 27, 1988, at Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville, for Gladys Miles, age 84, of Charles City, Iowa. She died on Sunday, December 25, 1988 at Floyd county Memorial Hospital in Charles City, of natural causes. The Rev. John Gilbert officiated, and burial was in Saratoga Cemetery.

She was born on October 28, 1904 to Bert and Anna (Kosinek) Miles. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include several cousins.
