BURIAL AT ROCK CREEK, MITCHELL COUNTY

MASON CITY, IOWA - Elmer G. Thompson, 81, of 616 N. Monroe Ave., died Wednesday (April 30, 1997) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Rock Creek Cemetery located north and west of Rudd, with the Rev. David R. Shogren of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating.

Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., is in charge of arrangements.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to the Elmer G. Thompson Memorial Fund, 616 N. Monroe Ave., Mason City, Iowa 50401.

Elmer was born Nov. 20, 1915, on a farm near Plymouth.

Elmer is survived by his wife, Mary Annabelle; and two sisters, Laura Bentten of Manly, and Alice Benttine of Osage.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
