Funeral services for Lori Ann Whitehead, 45, of 205 West Dow Street, Greene, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church, Greene, with Pastor Paul Uzel officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery in Osage.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. at Reid’s Funeral Chapel, 519 North First Street, Greene, where there will be a public Scripture Service and Service of Remembrance at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church one hour before services on Saturday.

Lori Ann Badker was born July 20, 1962 in Osage, Mitchell Co. Iowa a daughter of Gregory L. and Sharon R. (Ryan) Badker and died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at the Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo. She received her education in the Osage Public Schools. Lori was united in marriage to John Whitehead on June 10, 2006 at the Presbyterian Church in Greene.

She was a kind individual who enjoyed helping others. Lori would go out of her way to make someone’s day special. Her favorite pastimes included spending time at her home by the fireplace, and cooking.

Living family members include her husband: John Whitehead of Greene; a daughter: Amber Berryman, of Evansdale, IA; two sons: Nathan (Hollie) Berryman, of Evansdale, and Jeremy Berryman, of Evansdale; a granddaughter: Lexie Gifford; her father: Greg Badker, of Osage; a sister: Lana (Brett) Fish, Corwith; and two brothers: Alan (Denise) Badker, of Mason City, and Bill Badker, AZ.

Lori was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to the Lori Whitehead Memorial Fund in care of the family.
