RICEVILLE, IOWA — Edward L. Funte, 61, of Riceville died Tuesday (July 12, 2005) on a farm near Riceville.

Edward Lee was born on Aug. 14, 1943, in New Hampton, the son of Frank and Mable Ruth (Utesch) Funte.

Edward is survived by his children, Patricia Sue Jensen of Riceville, Pamela "Sissie" Albrant of Thompson, Edward Funte Jr. of Osage, Connie Duncan of Riceville, and Arthur Funte of Leland; 15 grandchildren; one brother, Gary Funte of Marengo; one sister, Nelda Mueller of Charleston, Ind.; and a great-aunt, Alvina Ball of Davenport.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Conway Funeral Home, 402 Woodland Ave., in Riceville.
