JULIE T. ADAMS

MITCHELL, IOWA — Julie T. Adams, age 54, of Waukegan, Illinois, wife of Douglas Adams, formerly of Mitchell, died on Wednesday, September 1, 2004, at Kindred Chicago Lakeshore Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with the Rev. Wayne Ellingson officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Champion – Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Julie was born March 17, 1950, in the Philippine Islands, the daughter of Francisco and Monica Garcia.

She is survived by her father, Francisco Garcia of the Philippines; husband, Douglas Adams of Waukegan, Illinois, and formerly of Mitchell; daughter, Jennifer Adams, of Charles City; mother-in-law, Shirley Adams of Mitchell; six sisters-in-law, Connie Pint (Ron) of Osage, Jackie Grimm (Chuck) of Mitchell, Terry Adams of Mitchell, Kim Clayton (Brian) of Mitchell, Paula Kamp (Randy) of Cresco, Sherry Schmidt (Don) of Simpsonville, S.C.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Monica Garcia; father-in-law, Wayland Adams; and brother-in-law, Wally Adams.
