WATERLOO, IOWA — Evelyn Elizabeth Lesch, 78, of Park-view Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, fomerly of 4831 Weiden Road, died Saturday,(August 14, 2004) at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Washburn, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens in Cedar Falls.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Redeemer Lutheran Church or the family.

Evelyn was born March 21, 1926, in rural Osage, daughter of Albert and Edna Schmidt Tabbert.

She married Donald Lesch on June 3, 1951, in Osage.

Survivors include her husband of Waterloo; five sons, Conrad (Tina) Lesch of Joliet, Ill., Edward (Carlyn) Lesch of Davenport, David (Jane) Lesch of Hoffman Estates, Ill., Robert (Kim Moore) Lesch of Concord, Calif., and Charles (Jean) Lesch of Ann Arbor, Mich.; one daughter, Ruth (Dan) Harken of Waterloo; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Eldred Tabbert.
