STACYVILLE, IOWA -- Norbert J. Thome, 62, of Stacyville, died Sunday (Dec. 22, 1996) in Denver, Coloeado.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Visitation Catholic Church, Stacyville. Burial will be in the Visitation Catholic Church Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Visitation Church Hall. Hatten and Sons Funeral Home, Stacyville, is in charge of arrangements.

Norbert J. Thome was born Jan. 19, 1934, in Stacyville, Mitchell county, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara C. Thome, Stacyville; three daughters, Lisa Grothe of St. Ansgar, Sheila Kittleson of Janesville, and Kim Bruggeman of Stacyville; five grandchildren; one sister, Eleanor Gerk; and two brothers, Gregor Thome and Clarence Thome.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
