OSAGE — Richard Vance, 11, of Osage, died Thursday (Jan. 8, 1998) at St. Lukes Hospital in Sioux City.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Champion Funeral Home in Osage, with the Rev. Dennis Hanson officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Champion Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Faith Hope and Charity Home in Storm Lake, with the Rev. David Grinberg officiating.

Richard Vance was born March 14, 1986, in Osage.

He is survived by his father, John Vance, Osage; his mother, Merry Vance, Sac City; two sisters, Jenny Vance, of Clear Lake, and Becky Vance, of Sac City; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Vance, Osage; maternal grandparents, Warren and Iola Isenberger, of Osage; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather and one aunt.
