Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Nagle, 79, were held Saturday afternoon at the Nora Springs Methodist church. The Rev. D. Cannady, church pastor, was in charge. Burial was at the St. Ansgar cemetery. Mrs. Nagle died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Neul Larson in St. Ansgar, Iowa, where she made her home.
Alma Ann Golden was born January 23, 1884, in Atchinson county, Missouri, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Richard Golden. She became an orphan at the age of 10 years and lived until her marriage with Mr. & Mrs. Lincoln Smith in Fairmont, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Robert, two brothers and a sister.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Neal [Nuel] (Lucy) Larson, Mrs. Arthur (Lee) Tribbensee and Mrs. John (Ena) Bell, all of St. Ansgar, IA. and Mrs. Carl (Evelyn) Deeds of Waterloo; two sons, Howard Nagle of Charles City and Rodger Nagle of Cedar Falls; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren. She also has a sister, Mrs. Charles St. John of Hume, Illinois.

ANSGAR, IOWA — Funeral services for Mrs. Alma (Golden) Nagle, 79, who died Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nuel Larson in St. Ansgar, after a lingering illness, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Nora Springs Methodist church; burial in the St. Ansgar Cemetery. Schroeder and Houg funeral home in charge.
Survived by four daughters, Lee (Art) Tribbensee, Lucy (Neul) Larson and Ena (John) Bell, all of St. Ansgar, and Evelyn (Carl) Deeds, Waterloo; two sons, Howard Nagle, Charles City, and Rodger (Edna) Nagle. Waterloo.
