October 2, 1924Orchard, Iowa -- Mrs. Samuel Jones, a former resident here, passed away Saturday evening at Charles City at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Upham.
She was about 90 years of age having been married to Samuel Jones in Wales. Her husband preceded her in death fifteen or more years ago.
She leaves to mourn her departure two sons and three daughters, besides several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The funeral services were held Monday in Charles City and she was laid to rest in the cemetery at Stillwater, seven miles east of here, beside her husband.
