Last rites for Mrs. Raphael (Ray) Duren, 48, who died at her Osage home March 12, were held Monday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic church.
The Rev. Justin Kane, church pastor, was in charge of the rites and arrangements were by C.R. Champion and Sons. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Wanda Irene Nauman was born at LeRoy, Minnesota, February 2, 1919, the youngest of the 10 children of Arno and Freda Bornstein Nauman. She grew to womanhood and was graduated from the LeRoy high school.
Raphael Duren and Wanda Nauman were united in marriage at Visitation Catholic church in Stacyville, Jan. 28, 1954. They had lived in Osage 21 years and she assisted her husband as a clerk in Duren's Davis Paint store.
Survivor's include her husband, Raphael (Ray) of Osage; four children, Daniel, Cynthia, Kathryn and Rebecca; three sisters, Mrs. Edna M. Speer of Fountain, Mn., Mrs. Florence Soltou and Mrs. Thelma Madison of Arden Hills, Mn., six brothers, Harold of Lake City, Mn. Fred of Austin, Edward and Lloyd of LeRoy, Clarence of Granger, Mn. and Raymond of Riceville; nieces and nephews.
