Funeral Friday For
Mrs. Mary Keroff, 89

Funeral Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m., at the Baptist church in Osage for Mrs. Mary Keroff, 89 of Orchard who died Monday at Mitchell County Memorial hosptial. Mrs Keroff had been ill about a month, and received treatment for a heart condition.

The Rev. John Woodin, church pastor, will be in charge of the services. C. R. Champion and Sons are making the arrangements, and burial will be at Harlington cemetery, Waverly, at 3 p.m.

Mary Keroff was born in Russia, April 15, 1875. Following her marriage she accompanied her husband to Streeter, N.D., coming to the Orchard area in 1938. She was baptized in the Baptist church in North Dakota.

Since the death of her husband in Denver, Iowa, in 1936, Mrs. Keroff made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Velko Koeff.

Survivors include eight children: Mrs. Koeff of Orchard; George Keroff of Waterloo; Mrs. Barbara Smokov, Mrs. Fred Grekoff, Steele, N.D.; Mrs. Pete Minkoff, Mrs. Jim Grokoff, Mike Keroff of Miles City, Mont., and Tony Keroff of Rancho Mirage, Calif. She also leaves 2 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children who died in Russia. It is not known whether Mrs. Keroff has living relatives in her native country since her family name is unknown.
