Everett Enfield Died
Following Operation
Friday Afternoon

Everett Eugene Enfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Enfield, passed away at the Nissen hospital last Friday after complications had developed following an operation for ruptured appendex.

Although his condition had been serious, it was believed Thursday that he was gaining, and his sudden change for the worse, and his death, is indeed a great shock to the family and his friends.

He was a member of last years' high school graduating class, and a respected much-liked young man.

Everett Eugene Enfield was born Jan. 22, 1914, at Marshalltown, Iowa, and passed away November 11, 1932.

The family moved to a farm in the Pleasant Valley neighborhood, when Everett was 5 weeks weeks old, and they have lived since in this community, moving to Osage in 1926.

He is survived by his father and mother, two sisters -Mrs. A. C. McCullough, of Gowrie, Iowa; Mrs. George Korte, Osage, and a brother, Elmer D. Enfield at home. The sister, Mrs. McCullough, and the others of the family had been at his bedside constantly during his illness.

Everett was baptised at the Plesant Valley church at the age of 12, and he leaves a host of young friends in the church and schools who mourn his going.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Methodist church, conducted by the pastor. Dr. S. E. Ellis, and burial made in the local cemetery.
