A memorial mass for Oliver "Tim" Kisner, age 77, of Osage, Iowa, was held on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Rev. John Moser officiating.

Inurnment was at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery with graveside military honors by the Osage American Legion Post 278.

Tim died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at his home.

Tim was born March 21, 1929, near Mason City, the son of Claud E. and Cecelia ( Dixon ) Kisner. He graduated from Orchard High School, Orchard, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Army. Tim was united in marriage to Marcellene H. Mullenbach on August 30, 1958, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. He ran a candy route, was employed at the Osage Municipal Utilities, owned and operated "Tim's Town Pump" in Mitchell for 10 years, was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and was a courier for the C.U.S.B. Bank. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a former president of the Osage Library Board.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Marcellene, January 13, 2002; and two brothers; Ray and Clint.

He is survived by three sons, Timothy J. Kisner and his daughter Britney of Blaine, Minnesota, Steven P. Kisner, his wife Kirsi, and son Onni Oliver of San Antonio, Texas, and Rodney R. Kisner of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; and a sister Mary Lou Kisner of Osage.

Arrangments were made by Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage, Iowa.
