Died: May 15, 2020

Lynn Pint, age 66, of Osage, Iowa, died Friday, May 15, 2020, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage following a lengthy battle with heart disease.

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having public services at this time.

Private family graveside services will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. A gathering to celebrate Lynn’s life will be held at a later date.

Lynn was born September 9, 1953, in Osage, Iowa, the son of Kenneth and Bertilla (Isaac) Pint. He attended Sacred Heart School thru the eighth grade and graduated from Osage High School in 1971.

After high school he attended Hamilton Business College for one year. Lynn was a hired man for Jim Boerjan till taking a job at Grain Millers in St. Ansgar, and later worked at Wallace Business Forms till his retirement.

After retirement he did lawn service for various people along with lawn care for Sacred Heart Cemetery. In his spare time, he would help pickup pop cans for Mitchell County Boosters. Lynn loved seeing how many miles he could put on his pickup, and caring for his miniature ponies.

Lynn is survived by two brothers, Curt (Jeanne) Pint of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, Neil Pint of Lenexa, Kansas; three sisters, LuAnn (Bruce) Budahn of Austin Minnesota, twin sister, Lynda (Larry) Johnson of Osage, Gwen ( Mark Fritsch) Driscoll of Osage; brother-in-law, Tom Gast of Nora Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth in 1975 and Bertilla in 2010; and sister, Pam Gast in 2002; maternal grandparents, John and Lizzy Isaac and paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Helen Pint.
